Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing - Also known as RCAM, the mission of the center is to promote and apply university led advanced manufacturing research and development work. In order to respond to the industry's needs and to provide the conditions to educate undergraduate and graduate students in the area of manufacturing engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering along with SMU School of Engineering established the Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) in September of 1999.
Research on Research - The objective of Research on Research is to systematicaly investigate research teams and research policy to improve their productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Eminently interdisciplinary, Research on Research is conducted through four main phases:

Center for Research in Reproduction - Primary research focuses on the understanding and treatment of disorders of reproduction with emphasis on the underlying mechanisms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
